Who we are
JL’s history begins with the work and persistence of a man – Joarez Alves de Oliveira, born in Caçapava do Sul, moved to Novo Hamburgo in 1976 with only one suitcase of clothes, lived his professional life in the metallurgical sector where he retired- if and with your retirement money invested in your dream. JL Soldas was founded on April 4, 1994 . He started the company in a building at the back of his own home with very few resources, but with a lot of experience.
With the approval of the quality of the service provided, all the activities he performed alone were no longer possible, so he hired his first employees. The acquisition of new customers and the significant increase in services required the expansion of the workplace. In 2001 he bought two plots of land where he built the company’s first pavilion. In 2009, JL Laser was inaugurated, where the laser cutting process was implemented.
We currently have an industrial park of 5,300m², with state-of-the-art equipment and stocked raw materials to meet the most diverse market segments and the most rigorous quality standards.
From this modest beginning, JL has grown, continuously and rapidly, assuming a leadership position in the metallurgical and metal-mechanical segments.
